Fostering conversation, creativity, and a shared commitment to a more sustainable future, the Crafting for Climate project is touring Gold Coast City Libraries in 2026.
The quilt is on show with a curated selection of climate-themed books, children’s activity sheet and a short documentary highlighting the Crafting for Climate project.

Tal Fitzpatrick and Melissa Spratt’s Crafting for Climate quilt is the culmination of textile-based workshops with community across the Gold Coast, with each participant contributing a denim square to the quilt that explored the theme of climate resilience, connection and care for Country. The quilt was previously on show at Runaway Bay Library from 5 February - 17 April, 2026.
