Free Event, Bookings Essential. October 3rd, 18th and 24th from 10:00am-12:30pm
Join local artists Tal Fitzpatrick and Melissa Spratt for a series of free, hands-on textile sessions exploring climate resilience, community connection, and care for Country.
Held across three locations in October, Crafting for Climate invites participants to slow down, share stories, and engage in mindful making. You'll learn to finger knit, contribute a denim patch to a collaborative community quilt, and take home a native seed bomb as a gesture of renewal and connection to nature.
This project culminates on 24 October for the International Day of Climate Action.
These sessions are designed to foster conversation, creativity, and a shared commitment to a more sustainable future.
